Checkers, also known as Draughts, is a strategy board game for two players. It is a traditional game, with a history of more than 5000 years. Checkers is played on a 8×8 square board. The game begins with the two players, on opposite sides of the board, each having 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns.
